Well “wow”, what an experience, to interact, adapt, and getting to know all of the other members of the group Spiritually. The involvement of participating in the setup of the campout was great. Also I had the privilege to get in on the cooking as it is what I love to do.

Friday night meeting was also great by the evening most members had arrived. I haven’t had such a great time in about five years, and this time I was sober as was everyone else.

Saturday morning was enhanced with another strong meeting, pumping up my sobriety to a peak level.

Then it was on for all, as we experience a great soccer match on the cow dong field. What great moment finished with everybody walking back with smelly cow shit all over us. After all this we prepared for our BBQ. Boat trip, was also great, getting to know everyone much more.

Then we were enlightened with free time, as this finish we prepared for dinner, working and looking forward to another evening meeting.

All of us sitting round the campfire and to have heard everyone share, especially Peter T and Mark, creating that injection of steroids into my sobriety was tremendous.

Just the thought of a great 3 days on the Murray with a bunch of awesome blocks, sharing experiences on strength, hope and wisdom, and unconditional love and support doing the drill of (A.A.) was off the planet experience.

Putting words into complete action is how I describe it.

If you were not there, you should have been, there is no excuse at all. I have now made Armadale The Deal my home group as these members inspire me.

Many thanks to all who organized Echuca campout. It was layed out in great structure, to get out of our own head space, which becomes dangerous. To my knowledge of sobriety I quote, there is a Higher Power, and for me it rests in the rooms of A.A. This tells me I know where I have to be.
